The Cook Islands are located in the Southwest Pacific Ocean
between French Polynesia and Samoa. The Cook Islands comprises
of 15 widely dispersed islands, which is divided into 2 groups,
The Southern, and Northern Group.
The Southern Group includes Rarotonga, which is the country's
administrative centre.
The Cook Islands possesses a tropical oceanic climate with
two main seasons, the dry months being from April to November
having an average maximum temperature of about 26 degrees centigrade,
and an average minimum temperature of 20 degrees centigrade.
The more humid months are from December to March, which have
an average maximum temperate of 28 and a minimum of 22 degrees.
Tiare Village is 3km
from Avarua township, situated on the north side of the island. Tiare
Village is set in lush tropical garden setting. We are well
known for our hospitality and friendliness. Convenient for
shopping, Banks, Restaurants and our very own Island nightlife.
Also, just a few minutes from the beach at Nikao.
We cater for budget minded tourists in comfortable accommodation
situated in lush tropical gardens.
Rarotonga has a daily bus service. From Mon – Fri 7.30am
– 4.30pm, which operates on the hour, the bus stops at
the end of our drive, which is a minute walk from the main
house.
A pool and shared BBQ area is available for all Tiare Village
guests and an abundance of fresh fruit (pawpaws, bananas, mangoes
and avocados) can be picked fresh from the trees in our garden
when in season.

No deposit is asked for in advance. We do need confirmation
of your booking as well as details of your incoming flight
so we can organise your pick up. (i.e what country you are
coming from, flight number, expected time of arrival and
how long you would like to stay with us). Please
remember the dateline when advising your ETA to Rarotonga. Once
I have received this information I will return confirmation.
